Ceglie Messapica – A Brief History

I’ve just collaborated with local historian and tour guide Michele Miccoli to produce this short film about the history of Ceglie Messapica. The local towns in the Valle d’Itria are babies in comparison to Ceglie Messapica… even Herodotus name checks the white walled town.
It is known as ‘città d’arte e terra di gastronomia’ (city of art and land of gastronomy).
