Antimo’s wife Chiara heard we wanted to film some typical pugliese food being prepared. She got Antimo organised within half an hour and I was treated to over an hour of ‘improvised’ culinary dishes cooked in front of my camcorder.
It is a fantastic setting, Antimo has this delightful masseria (complete with its own little chapel) just outside Ceglie Messapica. The vegetables are all from the masseria and you eat in his cosy dining room or al fresco. Definitely worth a visit when you are over (www.terramora.com)
