This once rare event has now happened on consecutive winters. This autumn/winter period has already produced the wettest 3 months on record in Puglia.
You would be excused to think that the above photos of the trullo were located in Norway, not southern Italy. It didn’t stop the summer though… temperatures regularly reaching 45 degrees!
